Pork supply for the university residence and nursery

Summary

The contract covers the supply of pork for meals at the Ciudad Real Provincial Council’s university residence and nursery. Deliveries will be made gradually according to need over a one-year contract. The estimated total quantity is 1,805 kg, but the authority is not committed to buying the full amount. The residence requires, among other items, boneless loin, fresh minced pork, cheeks, chops, tenderloin, ribs, bacon and salted pork products; the nursery requires minced pork, diced lean ham and tenderloin. The tender documents specify the cuts and quantities. The pork must be white pork and comply with food-safety, hygiene, quality, packaging and labelling requirements. The supplier must maintain the cold chain and observe the temperature limits: carcasses and cuts at no more than 7°C, minced meat at no more than 2°C, meat preparations at no more than 4°C, and ordered frozen products at –18°C or below on receipt. Deliveries are normally weekly on working days from 8:00 to 9:00. Urgent orders must be fulfilled within 2 hours, with an equivalent alternative if the requested item is unavailable. The tender ceiling is €15,388.50 excluding VAT (€16,927.35 including VAT), and price is the only award criterion. The supplier must be registered as a food business and provide a current copy of its registration and a technical data sheet for the pork, including declarations of allergens and substances causing intolerance. Economic and technical capacity does not have to be demonstrated separately. Submit the tender electronically within 10 working days; it must cover the entire procurement and include unit prices for the products. Variants are not allowed.
