Upgrade of Cabra’s heritage and city access corridor and historic centre
Summary
The tender covers the renewal of Cabra’s heritage and city access corridor and the area around its historic centre. It involves remodelling the full street cross-section and transforming residual land beside the stream bridge into a cultural public space and performance area connected to the street, the Molino del Duque facility and its surroundings. The works include, among other things, preparatory and demolition work, earthworks, foundations, paving, finishes, utilities, street furniture, landscaping and waste management. The procurement is a single indivisible contract and is not divided into lots. The works are expected to take 15 months from signature of the works commencement and setting-out record. The estimated contract value is EUR 1,190,642.60 excluding VAT, and the total budget is EUR 1,440,677.55 including VAT. Funding is provided 85% by the European Regional Development Fund and 15% by Cabra City Council. Tenders are evaluated on a 100-point scale: price up to 75 points, an extension of the warranty period by up to 3 years up to 20 points, and a commitment to prepare as-built drawings for 5 points. Tenders must be submitted electronically, one per bidder; variants are not allowed. Bidders must hold the required works classification and be registered in the relevant register. The contractor must provide adequate staff, equipment and machinery, maintain liability insurance of at least EUR 600,000, and meet the health and safety, environmental and EU funding visibility requirements.
