Continuous supply of water and assorted beverages to the University of Beira Interior social services

Summary

The tender concerns the continuous supply of water and assorted soft drinks to the social services units of the University of Beira Interior in Covilhã, Portugal. Bids may be submitted for four lots: still mineral water (lot ceiling €2,700), cola- or caramel-flavoured carbonated drinks (€2,200), other soft drinks (€1,060), and iced tea (€2,040). The lot ceilings exclude VAT and total €8,000. Price is the only award criterion. The estimated quantities for six months are: lot 1, 2,000 bottles of 330 ml, 5,000 bottles of 500 ml and 6,000 bottles of 1.5 litres of water; lot 2, 1,500 sugared and 2,000 sugar-free 330 ml cans of cola drinks; lot 3, 500 pineapple, 500 orange and 1,000 lemon-lime-flavoured 330 ml cans; lot 4, 1,000 cans each of sweetened lemon, pineapple and peach iced tea, plus 1,000 cans of sugar-free iced tea in assorted flavours. Quantities are estimates and may change according to actual needs; the buyer is not required to purchase the full estimated quantities. Bidders may tender for one or more lots, but must submit a separate bid for each lot. Supplies will be ordered and delivered in instalments over six months, or until the value of the relevant lot’s contract is reached. Goods must be delivered within five working days of an order, on working days between 14:00 and 16:00, and the buyer must be notified at least 24 hours before delivery. Minimum remaining shelf life from delivery is 18 months for water and 9 months for other drinks. The supplier bears transport and other supply-related costs. The bid submission deadline is 6 October 2026 at 23:59; bids must remain valid for 66 days from the submission deadline.
