The Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras is procuring the two-year commercial operation and management of the fish market at the Port of Algeciras, as a single, undivided contract. The service includes the first sale of fishery products through a computerized auction system that transmits auction, statistical and transport-document information in real time, as well as facility cleaning and surveillance, technical inspections of weighing scales, maintenance of the sales and commercial-management system and its equipment, and support for health authorities. If the new fish market opens while the contract is in force, the service will continue at the new premises.
