Paid parking management and shuttle service for the 42nd Montella Chestnut Festival

Summary

The concession covers management of paid parking at the PIP area and shuttle transport between the parking area and the town for the 42nd Montella Chestnut Festival. The parking area has approximately 1,500 spaces; vehicle custody is not included. The concession runs for five days: 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8 November 2026. Daily parking charges are €5 for a car, €15 for a camper van and €20 for a coach; the paid shuttle costs €1 per person per journey. Parking is free for holders of disability permits and for police and emergency vehicles. The concessionaire must manage parking and collect payments, provide enough staff and shuttle vehicles to keep the average waiting time to no more than 15 minutes, clean and restore the area, and provide an adequate number of toilets. The concessionaire bears the service costs and commercial risk. The municipality is to receive 20% of receipts, in addition to a fixed concession fee; the tender asks for an increase on a base amount of €6,000 including VAT. Estimated concession turnover is €40,000, but this is not guaranteed income. Bidders must submit the required qualification and administrative documents and an electronic bid. They need an appropriate business-register entry, compliant social-security contributions, and comparable experience managing public parking areas or the insurance evidence permitted by the tender documents. Before contract signature, the successful bidder must provide the final guarantee and liability insurance, together with insurance and registration documents for the vehicles used.
