Design services for the renovation of the pool at Ricart Sports Centre

Summary

The tender is for the preparation of the basic and detailed design and the health and safety study for the renovation of the swimming pool at Ricart Sports Centre, based on the 2023 preliminary design. The planned works include changing the pool depth to 1.20–1.80 metres, enlarging and raising the pool surround, renewing the pool and its systems, relocating and refurbishing the pool changing rooms, and creating six team changing rooms, a referees’ changing room and a first-aid room in the basement. The design work also covers renewal of the building façades, structures, technical systems and interior finishes, as well as energy-efficiency improvements including LED lighting and photovoltaic panels. Bidders must submit an anonymous design proposal. Offers are assessed on quality (up to 55 points) and price (up to 45 points), with a minimum quality score of 35 points. The estimated contract duration is 5 months, with a planned start on 2 January 2027; extensions are not allowed. The budget is EUR 147,136.59 excluding VAT and EUR 178,035.27 including VAT. Award is conditional on approval of the funding project by the Barcelona Provincial Council.
