The Municipality of Castellbell i el Vilar is procuring a single, undivided service for its municipal cemetery. The work includes cleaning, routine maintenance and conservation, gardening, opening the site and assisting the public, as well as burials, exhumations, reductions and transfers of remains, preparation of niches, and waste management. The estimated annual workload includes about 30 burial, exhumation or transfer services, 15 placements of niche side panels or tombstones, and 20 occasions requiring a coffin lift; up to 15 benefit burials over the contract term are included without additional charges. The contract runs for four years, with an option to extend it by one year.
