Scientific support for Baden-Württemberg’s electrolysis funding programme

Summary

The State of Baden-Württemberg is procuring scientific, analytical and evaluative support for its electrolysis funding programme, covering an estimated 15 funded electrolysis projects during 2027–2030. Lot 1 covers networking the projects, including 16 facilitated exchange events over four years and a digital document-sharing platform. Lot 2 covers analysis of business models and economic viability, assessment of local hydrogen-hub development potential, and evaluation of the funding programme; it also includes an optional work package to develop a digital tool for optimising electrolyser operations.
