Project design and construction supervision for the redevelopment of Arkolla Street

Summary

The tender covers preparation of the project and construction supervision for the comprehensive redevelopment of the Llobregat Rise section of Arkolla Street. The street has no pedestrian pavements, and deficiencies in stormwater collection and drainage create accessibility and safety problems. The services include preparing preliminary layout options, presenting them publicly at least once and taking residents’ input into account, producing a complete execution project, and, if commissioned, directing and supervising the works, including the applicable health and safety coordination. Bidders must submit an analysis of the area and possible solutions, graphics, and a proposed work methodology and schedule. The team must include a suitably qualified Works Director and Director of Material Execution and, where required, a qualified health and safety coordinator. Construction supervision requires a minimum team commitment of 18 hours per week. That phase is conditional on the works being carried out and budget funding being available.
