Development of a municipal heavy-rainfall preparedness concept for Bad Essen

Summary

The Municipality of Bad Essen is procuring a municipal heavy-rainfall preparedness concept covering its approximately 103 km² territory. The work includes data collection, hydraulic 2D modelling and hazard and risk mapping for a 30-year event, a 100-year event and an extreme event, followed by prioritized risk-reduction measures, an implementation strategy and final reports. The service also includes project management, stakeholder and public engagement, communications and public information events.
