Donor blood group determination reagents

Summary

Hungary’s National Blood Supply Service is procuring reagents and cell suspensions for determining donors’ blood groups and red-cell antigens over a 24-month period. The quantities cover testing 800,000 blood samples with each of the Anti-A, Anti-B, Anti-A,B and Anti-D reagents and with A1, A2, B and O red-cell suspensions; Anti-C, Anti-E, Anti-c, Anti-e and Anti-K reagents are required for 120,000 samples each. The supply also includes 3–5 automated microplate laboratory analysers, their connection to the transfusion information system, and keeping them operational throughout the period of use. The procurement is a single, indivisible lot.
