Summary

The tender concerns repair works on bridges and culverts managed, or to be managed, by Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. in Hungary. Works will be ordered as needed through written call-off orders and may include repairing or replacing expansion joints, waterproofing, drainage and surfacing, corrosion protection, parapets and minor surface defects. Failures may require urgent intervention; each call-off will specify the work, quantities and technical conditions. The maximum order value is HUF 2,500,000,000 excluding VAT, and the contracting authority undertakes to call off at least 70% of the available amount. The planned contract term is 12 months, with a possible one-time extension for a further 12 months. Price accounts for 70% of the evaluation; the other criteria assess, among other things, the additional experience of the two required professionals and their experience installing or replacing expansion joints of at least 10 m. The bidder must demonstrate the required bridge construction and refurbishment references and provide two distinct, suitably qualified responsible technical managers. The European Single Procurement Document and the required evidence must be submitted. Before the contract is signed, the contractor and professionals must be entered in the required registers, and insurance must be in place with limits of at least HUF 200 million per year and HUF 100 million per claim.
