Christmas Lighting 2026

Summary

The Municipality of Portimão is procuring the rental of decorative Christmas lighting, including installation, technical assistance and maintenance during operation, followed by dismantling. The single contract covers a range of illuminated decorations and structures for public spaces in the parishes of Portimão, Alvor and Mexilhoeira Grande, including a programmable installation with 51,000 light points. The lighting is scheduled to operate through 6 January 2027, with dismantling from 7 to 12 January; the maximum budget is EUR 149,000 excluding VAT.
