Maintenance and inspections of mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning systems at University of Warsaw facilities

The University of Warsaw is procuring 24 months of routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning systems at university dormitories and hotel facilities in Warsaw. The service also includes a 24/7 fault-reporting response, locating and securing the fault area, and assessing the cause. The contractor must attend to and secure a reported fault within 4 hours and begin repairs within 72 hours, subject to the stated arrangements for obtaining specialist replacement parts. The scope also covers industrial extraction hoods. Ventilation maintenance and inspections are generally monthly; air-conditioning systems and hoods are serviced quarterly. The contract covers all listed sites and does not allow bids for only part of the work. Price is the sole award criterion. The bidder must hold a current UDT company F-gas certificate and GREE authorised service-centre and installer/technician credentials. A team with specified licences, certificates and experience is required; relevant service personnel must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience maintaining ventilation units and air conditioners. The successful bidder must maintain liability insurance of at least PLN 1,000,000 and provide, before signing the contract, a performance security equal to 5% of the total tender price. A 24-month warranty applies to the service and materials used.
