End-of-life management service for Metro de Madrid's blue work uniforms

Summary

Metro de Madrid is procuring a one-year service to manage the end of life of its blue work uniforms, with an estimated collection volume of about 10,000 kg from 13 depots. The service covers collection logistics, receipt and sorting, preparation and final treatment, including certified destruction of up to 9,000 kg, conversion of up to 500 kg into as many as 75 secondary-product waste bins, and upcycling of up to 500 kg into as many as 2,500 promotional items such as tote bags and keyrings. Safety footwear is also included; the contract is not divided into lots.
