Design of a project to improve and develop Lugo’s reclaimed-water system

Summary

The City Council of Lugo is procuring a single, indivisible service to assess and design improvements to its reclaimed-water system so it can be brought back into operation and developed in phases. The work covers inspection of the existing pumping, ultraviolet disinfection, storage and distribution infrastructure, and technical designs for any refurbishment, replacement or new equipment needed. The project will address permitted uses, water-quality controls, risk management, contamination prevention, traceability and supply-suspension procedures, in line with Spain’s water-reuse regulations.
