Expansion of the Puerto del Rosario wastewater treatment plant, sludge treatment and treated-water reclamation
Summary
The Canary Islands Department of Territorial Policy, Territorial Cohesion and Water is procuring construction and installation works to expand the wastewater treatment plant in Puerto del Rosario. The single, indivisible contract covers new pretreatment equipment, two primary settling tanks, two additional high-load membrane bioreactor (MBR) lines, sludge thickening and dewatering, solar drying, and auxiliary water, drainage, odour-control, electrical and access-road infrastructure. The expanded plant is designed to treat 6,000 m³ per day; the works are to be completed within 20 months, with a tender budget of €14,195,880.99.
