Summary

The contract covers construction of aluminium facades, windows and doors, solar shading, and aluminium-glass elements for the new medical school in Brandenburg an der Havel. The works must follow the tender documents, plans and work specifications. Price is the sole award criterion, and variant bids are not permitted. Bids must be submitted electronically in German by 10:00 on 2 October 2026. Work is scheduled to start on 23 November 2026 and be completed by 26 November 2027. Interim milestones include preparing the work execution plan in calendar weeks 48–51 of 2026; installing on floors 0–2 in weeks 12–16 of 2027; installing on floors 3 through the attic in weeks 17–20; and installing internal doors and sheet-metal work in weeks 44–47. The delay penalty is 0.2% of the contract sum per working day, capped at 5% in total. The bid must include proof of business liability insurance and the required price-calculation and other forms. The bidder must comply with Brandenburg’s minimum-pay requirements: although the documents state €13.00, the federal minimum wage of €13.90 gross per hour applies from 1 January 2026 where it is the higher applicable rate. The employer must provide wage and working-time records, permit inspections, and apply equivalent obligations to subcontractors.
