Environmental Study of the Mompás Coastal Area and Oiartzun Estuary

Summary

Aguas del Añarbe-Añarbeko Urak is commissioning an environmental study of the Mompás-Murgita coastal area and the Oiartzun River estuary to assess water and sediment quality, seabed characteristics, benthic communities and changes in the receiving environment. The work includes two water-column sampling campaigns each year at 19 stations, plus one annual sediment and one annual benthic-community sampling campaign. The contract also covers laboratory analyses and a final report documenting the findings and environmental trends.
