Preparation of the Project and Works Direction for the Legutio Municipal Gym

Summary

The Municipality of Legutio is seeking services to prepare the execution project and provide works direction and supervision for converting municipal premises at 19 and 21 Beheko Street into a new municipal gym. The premises have a total area of 631.86 m². The planned gym includes four exercise rooms, male and female changing rooms, a mixed-use sauna, toilets, lockers, a small office for a municipal sports department employee, and plant and ancillary rooms. The gym’s capacity must be below 300 people. The assignment includes the execution project and the necessary specialist designs and documents, including an acoustic study, a health and safety study, a construction and demolition waste plan, a quality-control plan and an energy-performance certificate for the project. The design must address in particular the transmission of noise and vibration to the apartments above, the design of ventilation and air-conditioning systems, and overheating caused by western sunlight. Works direction and supervision are conditional on the construction works being tendered and awarded. The execution project is due within 25 calendar days from the day after contract signature; bidders may offer a reduction of up to 10 days. Works direction and execution supervision are expected to last 4 months from the start of the works and will run concurrently. The estimated contract value is EUR 96,637.41 excluding VAT, and the maximum budget is EUR 116,931.27 including VAT. The award criteria are price (up to 30 points), additional qualifications and experience (up to 60 points), and a shorter project-preparation period (up to 10 points). Participation requires the specified turnover, relevant past experience and a qualified four-person team.
