Catering for the TEDx Cádiz University event

Summary

The contract is for catering at the TEDxCádizUniversity event on 11 December 2026 at the Cádiz Conference Centre. The contractor must provide a coffee break for up to 900 people and a closing cocktail reception for up to 800, bring the required infrastructure and furniture, serve attendees, and clean the venue and handle waste. The coffee-break menu must include at least 7 types of drinks and 4 types of food, with plant-based and lactose-free milk, decaffeinated coffee, a gluten-free food option and a healthy choice. The cocktail must include at least 5 types of drinks, 9 dishes and a dessert, as well as a gluten-free and a vegetarian or vegan option. At least 50 high tables and two service bars are required, together with a continuous staffing ratio of at least one waiter per 21 guests. The company must hold ISO 22000 food-safety certification or equivalent evidence. The estimated contract value is €20,850 excluding VAT (€22,935 including VAT); maximum unit prices are €4.50 per person for the coffee break and €21 per person for the cocktail, excluding VAT. Offers are assessed on menu quality and logistics, price, and the number of service staff and support tables. Bidders must meet the turnover and relevant experience requirements, be registered or provide timely proof of a registration application, and submit the required declarations and a detailed menu and service plan.
