Supply of two servers for a virtualisation platform, including installation and migration

Summary

The tender covers two new server hosts for Ecociudad Zaragoza’s virtualisation infrastructure, together with the required software licences. The work includes delivery, installation and configuration, migration of existing virtual machines and backups, commissioning a new highly available VMware cluster, and reconfiguring the current servers as a replication target. The supply includes, among other items, 20 VULs of Veeam Data Platform Essentials under a five-year contract and Windows Server 2025 licences for six virtual machines. The budget limit is EUR 89,000 excluding VAT, or EUR 107,690 including VAT; the procurement is not divided into lots. Each server must have two processors with at least 16 cores each, 256 GB of DDR5 memory, at least six 10 GbE network interfaces, and two SSDs of at least 480 GB in RAID 1. Equipment must be new, manufacturer-original, and compatible with the existing HPE Nimble storage and VMware environment. The supplier must install and configure the hardware and software, migrate the virtual machines and backup system, and carry out acceptance and availability tests. Delivery is due within six months of contract signature; installation, migration and commissioning must be completed within eight weeks after receipt of the equipment. The manufacturer’s warranty must cover at least three years. Offers are scored automatically: price is worth 60 points, while management-platform features, REST API and monitoring, VMware vCenter integration, extended warranty and fault-response coverage account for the remaining 40 points. Participation requires meeting the financial-capacity threshold, providing a team of three specialists with the specified certifications, registration in the official tenderers’ register and submission of the required offer and technical evidence.
