Maintenance and operation of GSM-R and telecommunications systems on high-speed rail lines
Summary
The contract covers the maintenance, operation and renewal of ADIF’s central GSM-R network systems on Spanish high-speed rail lines, together with centralised telecommunications management and remote control of power systems. The services also cover mobile and fixed telecommunications, video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection systems, and mobile network operators’ infrastructure. The routes include Madrid–Valladolid, Madrid–Barcelona–French border, the Zaragoza–Huesca and Camp de Tarragona–La Boella branches, Madrid–Valencia, Madrid–Seville, Córdoba–Málaga, and the La Sagra–Toledo branch. The contract runs for 48 months. The tender budget is EUR 145,014,655.44 excluding VAT and EUR 175,467,733.08 including VAT. An extension of up to 12 months is permitted, bringing the estimated total contract value including the extension to EUR 181,268,319.30. Qualitative criteria account for 49% of the evaluation and economic criteria for 51%. The deadline for submitting tenders and the opening of financial tenders have been postponed because of technical problems with the portal; revised dates will be announced once the problems are resolved.
