Summary

The contract covers new road markings and, where needed, repainting worn existing markings on streets in Dénia’s urban area and residential developments, as well as in La Xara and Jesús Pobre. The work includes white, yellow and red road paint for lines, symbols and other markings, and, where necessary, removal of existing markings by overpainting them black or milling them off. The local police department will issue work orders according to identified needs; repainting on heavily trafficked roads must take place at night. Work schedules must be coordinated with the municipal road-marking crew. The contractor has three working days to confirm a work order and 15 days from accepting it to complete the work, excluding days when the police prohibit work. Marking defects are covered by a warranty of at least two years. The contract runs for one year and cannot be extended. Its estimated value is €55,200 excluding VAT (€66,792 including VAT); payments are made in instalments for work actually ordered and performed, and neither the full estimated volume nor the full budget is guaranteed. Bidders must price every listed unit-rate item without exceeding any maximum unit price and include a technical description and certificates for the road-paint materials they propose to use. Price accounts for 80 points; up to 20 additional points are available for free extra white and yellow road-marking metres, up to 10 points for each colour at one point per 100 metres. Participation requires the specified declarations and an electronically submitted bid. Bidders must meet the eligibility and exclusion requirements, maintain €60,000 civil-liability insurance and observe the essential contract condition to implement a quality and environmental management system specific to the installation and maintenance of road markings.
