Maintenance of SEADA’s Tactical Vehicle Fleet

Summary

The contract covers preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs for the tactical vehicle fleet assigned to SEADA. The work includes diagnosis, servicing, repairs, authorised system modifications where needed, testing and restoring vehicles to operational condition. It also covers vehicle bodywork, assemblies and components. The fleet includes, among others, Volkswagen Amarok and SsangYong Musso Grand vehicles and a Vito. Spare parts must be original or equivalent; any substitution must be justified and approved by the contracting authority’s representative. Work will normally take place at the contractor’s workshop. The workshop must be less than 100 km from Morón Air Base and remain available for the entire contract. The bidder must have sufficient resources for diagnosis, repairs and final testing, and provide roadside repair assistance anywhere on the Spanish mainland within no more than 2 hours. For each vehicle, the contractor must prepare a repair proposal describing the work, parts, labour time, cost and estimated completion time; the contract supervisor must approve the work. The contract runs from the day after the award document is signed until 30 November 2026 at the latest; no extension is provided. The maximum budget is EUR 20,000 including VAT (EUR 16,528.93 excluding VAT). Evaluation assigns 60% to the hourly labour rate and 40% to a single discount applying to all spare parts in official manufacturers’ catalogues. The labour rate must not exceed EUR 60 per hour excluding VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically. Participation requires, among other things, a commitment to a workshop within 100 km, express acceptance of safety requirements and the required declarations. Repairs and installed parts carry a minimum one-year warranty; bidders may also offer a mileage-based warranty.
