Tender detail
Maintenance and support for the Honeywell intelligent building control system
Summary
The tender is for preventive and corrective maintenance of the Honeywell intelligent building control system at CMM’s headquarters in Toledo. The work covers inspection of the system, controllers and related equipment, as well as fault repairs. Three five-day preventive inspections must be carried out each year; corrective response is unlimited during the contractor’s working hours, and emergencies must be attended within 16 hours. The bidder must demonstrate at least five years’ experience with Honeywell control systems and fire-protection installations, assign a qualified engineer, hold the manufacturer-issued CARE programmer certificate, have the required software and hardware tools, and maintain public-liability insurance of at least EUR 600,000 per incident. An agreement with an accredited external occupational-risk-prevention service and a 24-hour fault-reporting contact centre are also required. The bid must state working hours and fault-reporting contact details and describe any improvements offered at no extra cost. Replacing equipment or materials may require a separate estimate approved by the client; materials are subject to a 20% discount, and the technical specification says CMM supplies spare materials. The required participation declarations must accompany the bid; check the tender documents for any financial thresholds.
