Supply of Foreign Scientific Periodicals for 2027

Summary

The tender covers the subscription, supply and management of foreign scientific journals and other periodicals for the libraries of the University of Valladolid in 2027. Publications must be supplied in print; some subscriptions also include an online version. The supplier will manage subscriptions and cancellations of previous subscriptions, monitor publication and delivery issues, claim missing or damaged issues from publishers, and arrange the purchase of back issues when requested. Publications are to be delivered to the university libraries, generally as soon as each issue is published; consolidated shipments must be sent at least weekly. Online access must be arranged for subscriptions that include it, and tenderers can earn additional points by committing to faster activation and delivery. The contract runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027, or, if signed later, from the day after signature until year-end; it cannot be extended. The contract is not divided into lots. The budget is EUR 90,810.97 including VAT (net amount EUR 87,318.24; VAT at 4%). Price is worth up to 50 points. Other award criteria are a commitment to pay the publisher within 30 days (20 points), activate online access in less than 15 days (15 points), and deliver print issues in less than 7 days from their expected publication date (15 points). Tenderers must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and submit the required declarations. Bids must be submitted electronically.
