Preventive Maintenance of Generators at Vélez de la Gomera, Alhucemas and the Chafarinas Islands

Summary

The contract covers preventive maintenance of nine diesel generator sets at the Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera, Peñón de Alhucemas and the Chafarinas Islands, with three generators at each site. Each generator has a rating of 150 kVA for emergency service and 135 kVA for prime power. Over the 12-month contract, six maintenance visits are required at two-month intervals at each site, plus one separate annual service: seven visits per site in total. Work includes inspections, cleaning, lubrication and adjustments. Annual maintenance also includes changing the oil and filters, replacing belts when necessary, and conducting a load test lasting at least 15 minutes. After each visit, the contractor must provide a technical report signed by competent personnel. Corrective repairs and spare parts not expressly listed are excluded and require separate pricing and prior authorisation by the buyer. The contract term is 12 months. The estimated budget is €33,536.01 excluding tax and €34,877.45 including 4% IPSI tax. The bid must cover all work and every unit price; partial bids are not accepted. Price is the sole award criterion, and bids exceeding the budget or offering a total price of zero euros will be rejected.
