Supply of computer and mobile equipment for research and teaching
Summary
The University of Cordoba is procuring a complete set of IT and mobile equipment for teaching and research by its Agro-Food Biotechnology research group (AGR-248), including research into data collected during physical exercise. The supply comprises six compact macOS workstations, four 27-inch 5K monitors, six keyboards, six mice, three computer security mounts and ten USB-C-to-USB adapters; two iOS smartphones with cases, chargers, screen protectors and other accessories; two GPS and cellular smartwatches; four USB-C earphones, two USB-C-to-Lightning cables, ten cleaning cloths, two Thunderbolt 5 hubs, 22 portable 8 TB external SSDs and 12 portable 4 TB external SSDs. The stated technical characteristics are minimum requirements, and equivalent or better products are acceptable. Equipment must work with the group’s Apple macOS, iOS and watchOS workflow: smartwatch data is transferred to phones and analysed on computers. The supplier must deliver, install and commission the equipment at the University of Cordoba’s Rabanales campus within seven days; the bid must include a detailed technical description. The estimated value is €90,000 excluding VAT, with a maximum budget of €108,900 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion. Bidders must meet the financial and technical capacity requirements and submit the required declarations and evidence; the best-ranked bidder must provide the specified insurance certificate and final guarantee. The contract includes full warranty repairs, software updates and technical user support; the supplier must also collect the packaging for reuse or recycling. All technical-specification clauses are essential contractual obligations.
