Supply and transport of mixed-gauge derailment guards and guard-rail components for the Astigarraga–Irún section

Summary

ADIF Alta Velocidad is procuring the manufacture and transport of eight complete ENM (I or D)-54 mixed-gauge derailment guard assemblies, designed for speeds up to 140 km/h, together with guard-rail supports, angular guard rails, fixed and sliding joints, and replacement components. The supply covers the components needed for 119 metres of double-track mixed-gauge line on the Urumea and Oiartzun metal bridge sections of the Astigarraga–Irún route. Related work includes workshop pre-assembly and testing, transport, final track testing, and design and bending for curves under 500 metres. The 18-month contract is not divided into lots and has an estimated value of EUR 1,134,063.03 excluding VAT.
