Supply of Chemical Reagents to EMACSA under a Dynamic Purchasing System

Summary

Córdoba’s municipal water company, EMACSA, is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for chemical reagents used in drinking-water and wastewater treatment and other company infrastructure. Products include, among others, acids, ammonia, activated carbon, chlorine compounds, sodium hydroxide, potassium permanganate, aluminium-based coagulants, iron salts, polyelectrolytes, gases and other process chemicals. Aluminium polyhydroxychloride is divided into three categories, with an estimated total quantity of 1,300 tonnes; the system runs for 4 years, with an option to extend it by 1 year.
