Operation and maintenance of the sorting and composting facilities at Teklen Dol regional landfill in Smolyan

Summary

Smolyan Municipality is seeking an operator for the Teklen Dol regional municipal waste landfill’s sorting and composting facilities for 36 months. The services include receiving, treating and transporting an indicative 51,000 tonnes of waste; receiving and shredding an indicative 15,000 tonnes of green and biodegradable waste for composting; and transporting an indicative 15,000 tonnes of refuse-derived fuel to an energy-recovery facility or waste-disposal site. The estimated transport distance for the refuse-derived fuel is 160 km and is not binding.
