Winter maintenance of roads, streets and sidewalks in Lidzbark in the 2026/2027 season
Summary
The procurement covers winter maintenance of roads, streets and sidewalks in the town and municipality of Lidzbark for the 2026/2027 season. Work comprises snow clearing and sanding with a sand-and-salt mixture in three separate areas: Lots 1 and 3 cover roads, while Lot 2 covers roads and sidewalks. Estimated volumes are 43.1 km of road clearing and 22.4 km of road sanding; 105,604.5 m² of roads and 28,641 m² of sidewalks; and 63.3 km of road clearing and 24.3 km of road sanding, respectively. Estimated quantities of mixture to be prepared are 210, 550 and 230 tonnes for the three lots. Roads must be cleared across their full width, with a minimum cleared width of 4 m. The road mixture is 90% sand and 10% salt; the sidewalk mixture is 97% sand and 3% salt. Snow cleared from sidewalks must not be deposited on the carriageway. Work is ordered as needed in response to weather conditions. The contractor must start within one hour of receiving an instruction and eliminate the effects of the weather on roads and sidewalks within 8 hours after precipitation stops. The contractor must monitor weather, remain available by telephone around the clock throughout the contract, and procure, mix and store the sand and salt. The contract runs for up to 160 days from signature; the contracting authority may increase the total quantity ordered by up to 50%. Workers performing specified tasks, including machine operators, must be employed under employment contracts. Bids may be submitted for up to three lots, with the required equipment provided separately for each lot. Evaluation assigns 60% to gross price and 40% to the invoice payment period; bidders must select 7, 14 or 30 days. The bid submission deadline is 14 October 2026 at 10:00.
