Cleaning large sewer collectors in Seville and its metropolitan area
Summary
The tender covers periodic cleaning and maintenance of the large sewer collectors and associated infrastructure managed by EMASESA in Seville and its metropolitan area. The work includes removing sludge, soil and other obstructions to maintain hydraulic capacity and reduce the pollutant load of discharges, including during heavy rainfall. The contract is divided into two geographic lots. Lot 1 covers Camas, San Juan de Aznalfarache, Coria del Río, Puebla del Río, Dos Hermanas and Seville. Lot 2 covers Alcalá de Guadaíra, Mairena del Alcor, Alcalá del Río, La Rinconada, El Ronquillo, El Garrobo, the Alcalá de Guadaíra industrial area, Torrepalma and Seville. Bidders may tender for one or both lots, but normally may be awarded only one. The contractor must carry out planned cleaning operations and respond to rainfall-related incidents using suitable staff and hydrodynamic cleaning equipment. The work also requires responsible waste handling, protection of the environment and water, prevention of pollution, and compliance with health and safety rules for work in confined spaces. The contract lasts two years, with no extensions planned. The estimated value is €3,006,415.47 excluding VAT (€3,637,762.72 including 21% VAT). Price and qualitative factors each carry up to 50 points. Bids must include a single discount percentage and must not exceed the tender price. Participation requires evidence of the specified turnover and experience, quality, environmental and occupational-safety certificates, applicable waste-transport authorisations and liability insurance. Bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish.
