Expansion of the sanitary sewer network in Wąsosz Górny

Summary

The contract covers construction and expansion of approximately 5 km of sanitary sewer network (a total of 5,002.53 m) in Wąsosz Górny, Poland. The works include gravity and pressure sewers, three wastewater pumping stations, and branches extending to property boundaries together with property connections. Construction is divided into two stages: streets Witosa, Zamojskiego, Kalwaryjska, Nadrzeczna and Rynek in the town centre, followed by Powstańców Street and a section of Nadrzeczna Street. The contractor must carry out the works in accordance with the design and technical documentation, perform the required tests and surveys, prepare handover documentation, and obtain the permits required for use by 15 November 2027. The contract has a lump-sum price; pricing must be based on the design and technical specifications because the bill of quantities is only indicative, and no extra payment may be claimed for work included in the design but omitted from that bill. Workers performing manual construction, equipment operation and installation/assembly tasks must generally be employed under employment contracts. Bids are evaluated on price (70%) and the length of the quality guarantee (30%); the guarantee must be between 36 and 60 full months. A PLN 15,000 bid guarantee must accompany the bid, and the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the gross bid price before signing the contract. Participation requires, among other things, evidence of at least two properly completed sewer works during the previous five years and a construction manager with the required water-supply and sewerage engineering qualifications.
