Preliminary study for a metropolitan support scheme to renew domestic heating equipment

Summary

The Metropolis of Greater Paris is procuring an 18-month preliminary study to design a metropolitan support scheme for replacing domestic heating equipment, with a focus on wood-burning systems. The study will assess existing equipment, fine-particle emissions, household practices and circumstances, and the economic factors and barriers affecting replacement, then develop an operational support model. Work includes household surveys, qualitative research and workshops, data analysis, reports, scenarios and recommendations; the contract also includes five technical committee meetings, three steering committee meetings and a final presentation. The contract has no lots and combines a lump-sum component with call-off orders capped at €30,000 excluding VAT.
