Conducting the SME Barometer for 2027
Summary
The Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment is procuring data collection and reporting for the 2027 SME Barometer, conducted twice during the year. The work covers surveys of companies with fewer than 250 employees on economic expectations, growth, renewal, internationalisation, investment and financing, using a sample representative of Finland’s regions, industries and company sizes. The usual evidence base is approximately 4,500–6,000 responding companies per survey round; questionnaires are conducted in Finnish and Swedish.
