Market dialogue: water-treatment design for phase 4 of the AaltoAlvari renovation

Summary

This is a market dialogue for a planned procurement of water-treatment design services for phase 4 of the renovation and expansion of the AaltoAlvari aquatic centre in Jyväskylä. The planned design services cover project planning, detailed design, preparation of tender pricing documents and design tasks during construction. The project concerns a protected building complex designed by Alvar Aalto; the work must take account of its cultural heritage value, protection requirements, technical functionality and user needs, while enabling swimming activities to continue as extensively as possible during construction. The indicative schedule is project planning in 2027, detailed design and the construction tendering and contractor selection in 2028, and construction in 2029–2030.
