Occupational health services

Summary

The procurement is for occupational health services for the employees of the Sateenkaaren School Joint Municipal Authority. The service includes statutory preventive occupational healthcare and a limited range of general medical and sickness-care services, including physician and occupational health nurse consultations, general-practitioner-level procedures and laboratory tests. It also includes access to influenza vaccination; an average of 10 vaccines have been obtained annually in recent years. In-person services and laboratory sample collection must be provided in Pieksämäki, and the provider’s office must be located there. Occupational health physician, occupational health nurse, occupational physiotherapist and occupational psychologist services must be available locally. Remote services are also permitted, and employees must not be charged service fees. The planned contract period is 1 March 2027 to 28 February 2030, with one possible two-year extension at the contracting authority’s discretion. The estimated total value, including the possible extension, is approximately EUR 160,000. Tenderers must submit the completed quality requirements form and all required pricing schedules. Offers are evaluated on quality, worth up to 55 points, and price, worth up to 45 points; the offer with the highest combined score wins. Quality assessment includes, among other matters, service availability and response times, reporting, and the composition and experience of the service team. Late or non-compliant tenders will be rejected.
