The Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras is procuring marine ecosystem restoration structures for the ports of Algeciras and Tarifa, including their underwater installation and ecological monitoring. The single, undivided contract covers installation within four months and a three-year programme of scientific and environmental monitoring, reporting, data management and public communication. The work includes monitoring biodiversity, carbon capture and water quality, annual pollutant and sediment analyses, inspections after severe sea storms, and monitoring previously installed structures.
