Zero food waste service for school canteens in Barakaldo

Summary

Barakaldo City Council is procuring a service to collect, package and transport unserved food from school canteens for reuse, as part of its circular-economy and School Agenda 2030 programme. The service covers two schools and includes installing equipment at each school and four refrigerated vending machines at municipal locations, together with coordination, training, consumables, stock management, reporting and a web-based management application.
