The Polytechnic University of Cartagena is procuring a three-year, university-wide service for unarmed security, surveillance and access control at its campuses and other facilities, mostly in Cartagena. The service includes scheduled guard and access-controller coverage, mobile patrols, monitoring of installed cameras and connection to and control of an alarm receiving centre. The estimated annual provision is 32,798 hours of security-guard services, including 1,500 hours for flexible deployment, and 23,942 hours of access-control services; the 1,500 flexible hours are available each contract year.
