Rental of an Optical Coherence Tomography System

Summary

Complutense University of Madrid is seeking to rent, without an option to purchase, one optical coherence tomography (OCT) system with angiography capability for imaging the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. The supply includes transport, installation, configuration, commissioning, accessories, software licences, documentation, initial user training, maintenance and technical support. The system will be installed at the Karolinska Institute’s Eye Center of Excellence in Solna, Sweden, for research into ocular microvasculature and early biomarkers of diabetes and diabetic retinopathy. Delivery and commissioning are due within 8 calendar days of contract signature; the rental runs through 31 December 2029. The estimated value is €50,000 excluding VAT (€60,500 including VAT).
