Expansion and Continuity of the Andalusian Audit Chamber’s Hyperconverged Backup Platform

Summary

The tender covers the technological renewal and operational continuity of the Andalusian Audit Chamber’s existing Cohesity DataPlatform backup and recovery environment; it is not a new platform implementation. The work includes supplying, installing, configuring and integrating three new hyperconverged infrastructure nodes, logically removing the replaced nodes, and providing official manufacturer support. It also includes a 20 TB SVC DataProtect software subscription and 25 TB of Azure public-cloud storage at the Cool access tier, including 10 TB of data recovery. The solution must remain compatible with the existing environment and preserve continuity of backups, metadata, history and recovery capability; Azure resources remain under the buyer’s administrative control. The contract lasts 36 months. The nodes and their installation and integration must be completed within five months of contract signature. The software and Azure subscriptions begin no earlier than expiry of the existing subscriptions on 30 January 2027, with no overlapping coverage or duplicate payment. The estimated value is €138,741.74 excluding VAT and the maximum budget is €167,877.51 including VAT. Price accounts for 50% of the score and technical and functional improvements for 50%. All criteria are scored automatically: price, support level, 25 GbE connectivity, rack space, licensed capacity and node storage capacity. Bidders must meet the turnover and experience requirements or provide the alternative evidence available to newly established companies, supported by manufacturer or authorized-channel documentation. The bid must be submitted electronically and the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% of the final price excluding VAT. The project manager’s work may not be subcontracted.
