Widening the access bridge to Rabanal de Luna on road LE-3414

Summary

The contract covers widening the bridge over the Luna River on the LE-3414 road leading to Rabanal de Luna. A new bridge section will be built alongside the existing bridge, downstream, with a 4.20 m-wide deck; the widened bridge will be 8 m wide overall. The works are intended to let two vehicles cross safely and improve pedestrian protection with wider sidewalks at different levels. The estimated works period is four months from the signing of the setting-out inspection record. The estimated contract value is €344,665.01 excluding VAT and €417,044.66 including 21% VAT. Tenders are evaluated on price (up to 75 points) and completion time (up to 25 points). Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and experience with previous bridge or other similar construction works, and submit the required declarations and evidence. Tenders must be submitted electronically. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final offered price excluding VAT.
