Tender detail
Processing and 3D modelling of magnetotelluric data for the Mazo geothermal exploration area
Summary
The contract covers the processing, inversion and 3D interpretation of data from at least 90 magnetotelluric measurement points in the SODEPAL-01 Mazo geothermal exploration area on La Palma. The aim is to produce a high-resolution electrical resistivity model describing subsurface geological structures and hydrothermal alteration. The work includes quality assurance and noise filtering, data processing and inversion, 3D modelling and delivery of the results. Deliverables include one 3D model, two progress reports and a final report of at least 20 pages. The work must be completed within four months, with no extension. The team must include at least one magnetotelluric expert with a PhD or master's degree in geophysics, geology, physics or a related field, documented relevant applied experience and at least 10 years of professional experience. Failure to meet the technical minimum requirements will result in automatic rejection of the tender.
