Design and legalisation of temporary electrical installations and structures for FYCMA events

Summary

The tender covers the design, technical supervision, processing of required documents and legalisation of temporary electrical installations and provisional structures used for events at FYCMA, the Málaga Trade Fair and Congress Centre. Structures may include suspended elements, stages, platforms, grandstands, walkways and marquees. The work includes necessary inspections and site visits, coordination with installation companies and competent authorities, and delivery of digital copies of the documentation to FYCMA. Projects must be endorsed by the relevant professional body and comply with applicable electrical, building, safety and event regulations. The contractor bears the processing, endorsement and fee costs for legalisation; any necessary inspection costs charged by an authorised control body are excluded from its responsibility. The estimated annual workload is 5 projects for temporary electrical installations above 50 kW, 2 technical reports and legalisations for installations below 50 kW, 2 provisional-structure projects, and 30 combined electrical and structural projects. Services must be completed before each event and may be requested with at least 48 hours’ notice. The bid must not exceed EUR 23,681.70 excluding VAT. The initial contract term is one year, with four possible annual extensions, up to a maximum of five years. The bidder must demonstrate the required previous experience and appoint a qualified service manager with at least five years of relevant experience. The bid must include the required qualification and compliance documents. During contract performance, the contractor must comply with occupational safety requirements and, within the first 30 days, provide the risk assessment and prevention plan, evidence of staff safety training and, where required, proof that personal protective equipment has been provided. Staff wages must be paid by the fifth day of each month or the next working day.
