Framework agreement for maintenance of lifts, moving walkways and escalators for the Provincial Government of Bizkaia and participating entities, 2027–2029

Summary

The tender is for a framework agreement to maintain lifts, other lifting equipment, moving walkways and escalators for the Provincial Government of Bizkaia and participating entities from 2027 to 2029, with services running until February 2029 and possible extensions. The equipment is divided into three lots. The technical specification lists 580 units, although it also gives a total figure of 592. The work covers preventive and predictive maintenance, fault repairs and related support, including emergency response and releasing people trapped in lifts. The contractor must provide at least six qualified maintenance technicians, the required response capability and adequate technical resources. On-site attendance is required within 60 minutes during normal working hours; outside those hours it is generally required in under two hours, and within 60 minutes where safety or a serious disruption to public services is involved. Monthly availability must be at least 90% for most equipment. Bids must be submitted electronically with the required participation declarations, technical information and pricing.
