Servers for the SMART VISION MUNICIPAL project

Summary

The municipality of Montserrat is procuring a new virtualization infrastructure for the SMART VISION MUNICIPAL project: two interconnected server nodes, the necessary virtualization and operating-system licences, and installation, configuration and migration services. The work also includes moving municipal workloads to the new cluster and putting them into production, updating corporate and remote-desktop services, auditing the existing storage and backup environment, and applying available updates. The new solution must provide N+1 high availability and keep all municipal data in the municipality’s own data centre. The work must be completed within one month of contract signature, with staged deadlines of five days for diagnosis and the implementation plan, 15 days for equipment delivery and installation, seven days for migration, and three days for validation and production deployment. Warranty, support and maintenance must be provided for at least 48 months and include on-site service. For a high-urgency service outage, a technician must be on site within one hour, 24/7. The estimated contract value is EUR 103,538.54 excluding VAT (EUR 125,281.63 including 21% VAT); the contract is not divided into lots. Offers are evaluated on a total of 100 points: price, 20 points; technical improvements, 55 points; and the technical solution and plans, 25 points. Improvements may include additional memory, an extended warranty and on-site support, and additional server and remote-desktop access licences. Bidders must have the required registration and demonstrate the specified financial and technical capacity, including turnover, comparable supplies, insurance, certificates and project-team experience.
