Cleaning service at Institut Castellarnau in Sabadell

Summary

The contract covers cleaning and disinfection at the 12,843 m² Institut Castellarnau educational centre and its outdoor areas in Sabadell. The bar-canteen, its storage room and the centre’s maintenance store are excluded. The work includes, among other tasks, cleaning classrooms, laboratories, workshops, offices, washrooms, corridors, stairs, frequently touched surfaces and outdoor areas; sorting and removing waste; and cleaning the inside of windows and the outside of windows that can be accessed. Cleaning must not disrupt the centre’s normal activities. The contract runs from 1 January to 31 December 2027, with no extension. The estimated workload is 7,280 hours per year, priced at €18.93 per cleaning hour excluding VAT. The annual budget ceiling is €137,810.40 excluding VAT. Working hours are generally 05:00–21:00, preferably with three workers on the morning shift and two on the afternoon shift; the first half of July is a morning shift. No service is required during the second half of July or August, or on the centre’s chosen Christmas and Easter holidays. Bidders must submit a work plan tailored to the building, limited to 20 pages, and the required technical annexes. They must list the cleaning products, equipment and waste bags to be used and provide the required supporting evidence. Price accounts for 75 points in the evaluation; the proposed work organisation and service-quality approach account for 25 points. Bidders must demonstrate relevant annual turnover of at least €137,810.40 and at least one comparable service or work worth at least the same amount, completed within the last three years. Businesses operating for less than five years may instead provide an alternative description of their machinery and technical resources. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final bid price excluding VAT and liability insurance of at least €600,000.
